What is Talisman

         Fu Talisman is the character and the collectively.         符籙樣式千奇百怪。歸納起來主要有如下四類：（一）復文。多數由二個以上小字組合而成、少數由多道橫豎曲扭的筆劃組合成形。（二）雲篆。是天神顯現的天書、即模仿天空雲氣變幻形狀或古篆籀體而造作的符號。（三）靈符、寶符。由更為繁復的圈點線條構成的圖形。這是數量最多、使用最廣的一種符籙。（四）符圖。由天神形象與符文結為一體的符籙。

            道教十分重視符籙的書寫方法、認為：「畫符不知竅、反惹鬼神笑；畫符若知竅、驚得鬼神叫。」

             道教使用符籙十分廣泛。有用於為人治病者：或丹書符籙於紙、燒化後溶於水中、讓病人飲下；或將符籙緘封、令病人佩帶。有用於驅鬼鎮邪者：或佩帶身上、或書符於章表、上奉天神；或用符召將請神、令其殺鬼；或用符關照冥府、煉度亡魂。當然書符道士或師傅們要經過長時間修練、道行深厚、和有很好的內煉工夫、才能書符時運氣於符上、以之治病、而產生一定療效。
